Privacy Policy
TedQu (“we”, “us”) operates TedQu Sigma – the website at blog-sigma.tedqu.com and the Sigma applications for web, Android and iOS (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is written for students and parents, in plain language.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and mobile number, collected at checkout and used as your sign-in identity.
- Payment information: processed entirely by Razorpay, our payment partner. We never see or store your card, UPI or banking details – we receive only a payment confirmation and order reference.
- Learning activity: lessons watched, tests attempted, scores, streaks and planner activity – used to power your progress, analytics and revision backlog.
- Device and usage data: basic technical information (device type, app version, approximate region) used to keep the Service fast and secure.
How we use it
- To provide the Service: your account, your content access, your analytics.
- To process purchases and issue GST invoices.
- To keep accounts secure – OTP verification and rotating session tokens.
- To improve the Service. We do not sell personal data. Ever.
Students and minors
Sigma is designed for students preparing for JEE and NEET, typically aged 15–18. If you are under 18, use Sigma with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian – the payment step itself generally involves a parent. Parents may contact our Grievance Officer at any time about their child’s data.
Sharing
We share data only with the partners needed to run the Service: Razorpay (payment processing) and content-delivery infrastructure for video streaming. Each partner receives only what it needs. We may disclose information if required by law.
Cookies
The website uses essential cookies for sign-in and checkout, and basic analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
Retention and security
We keep your data while your account is active and as required for tax and legal records. Data is protected in transit and at rest, and access inside TedQu is limited to people who need it.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Write to our Grievance Officer and we will respond within the timelines the law prescribes.

Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. This policy is governed by the laws of India; courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction.
